Bedford Hotel New York is situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan on 40th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, where the business district meets the quieter Murray Hill area. The hotel's prime location makes it convenient to corporate offices, Broadway theaters and Grand Central Station. Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the United Nations, and Fifth Avenue shopping are all within walking distance, while the Jacob Javitz Convention Center is just 15 minutes by taxi.


	Accommodations

This hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. With 58 apartment like suites and 77 spacious rooms covering 17 floors, guests will find their stay very comfortable. Every air-conditioned suite and room has cable TV, dataport telephone, Corby trouser press, private bath with hair dryer, in-room safe, and iron and ironing board. Most suites and rooms also have a fully equipped kitchenette. The Bedford charges an additional $20 for each addtional adult in the suite.
